It's the middle of April and its time to find out how Roger Payne had got on fundraising at Paynes Southdowns Bee Farm. Roger had offered to donate the profits from poly hives during March to the charity and the numbers were in. Cue nervous anticipation. £769!!!! That's about half of
all the money we've raised so far and almost double what we paid for the banger. Hoorah! The totalizer is getting huge. Thanks Roger. How do we repay our debt? Probably a beer.
